Like everything in life, there is a method for the special education process. It has been established for people who receive learning difficulties to help them better services. To help you, this method, here is a simplified version of the special education process.

1) Application Assessment

Someone sees that the child had difficulty in school, and requires testing to find what caused the problem. This request is from parents or educators. When parents place the request, the district must agree to give a full and individual evaluation. If the request comes from another person as a teacher, a team of educators and administrators gather to discuss the reasons and decide whether to continue testing. Regardless of who made the request, you must give written permission to do as a parent for this test. At this point you will be informed of your rights and your child.
